Meet the Team


  • Director
    Project Manager, Licensed Builder

    When I’m not working, I love spending time at the beach with my wife and our dogs. I’m also a big sports fan—you’ll often find me catching a rugby match or a game of basketball.

    Building is something I’m truly passionate about. I got into it because I enjoy creating beautiful, functional spaces and take a lot of pride in seeing a project come together. What I love most is working with clients to turn their vision into reality. There’s nothing more rewarding than handing over a finished project that exceeds expectations and seeing the excitement it brings

  • Operations Manager

    When I'm not working, you’ll often find me enjoying a coffee and walking our dogs along the beach. Before my journey in DLJ Builders began, I was teaching full-time in a local primary school. I made the decision to step into the world of business to support my husband, Dean, in growing our building company.

    I’m passionate about business and thrive working behind the scenes, where endless opportunities for growth and development spark my excitement. Whether it’s streamlining operations or exploring new ventures, I love seeing our business flourish and creating a lasting impact for our clients.

  • Site Foreman

    Outside of work, I love skateboarding, van adventures, and spending quality time with my partner. Coming from a family of builders, I grew up on job sites with my dad, so joining the building industry felt natural. Over the years, I’ve grown to love the sense of accomplishment it brings—there’s nothing like stepping back at the end of the day to see what we’ve achieved. I also enjoy the variety, as no two days are ever the same.

  • Apprentice Builder

    In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing rugby, surfing, and going to the gym. I love being outdoors and staying active.

    I chose to become a builder because I enjoy working outside and want to develop the skills to one day build my own home.

    What I love most about building is the variety—every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. I enjoy the physical nature of the job and the chance to continuously adapt and improve my skill set.

  • Apprentice Builder

    I enjoy spending my spare time with family, hiking through New Zealand’s native bush or in my local Thai boxing gym.

    My love for creativity and drive for a great career is what drove me to starting my building apprenticeship with DLJ Builders.

    My favourite thing about building with DLJ is the community of builders and other trades that work together to get the job done in a positive and productive way!

  • Site Foreman

    Outside of work you’ll find me fishing, hunting or riding my Dirt Bike - things I’ve loved doing since I was young.

    I became a builder as it has always been my passion since a young age and always love creating things I can stand back and be proud of. I also like how each day is different and with that brings new challenges that help expand my knowledge.

  • Apprentice Builder

    In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with friends, and going camping or on road trips.

    I chose to become a builder because it has interested me since I was young. I love getting stuck in and working hands-on with practical tasks. The best part of working at DLJ Builders is improving my knowledge and skill set every single day alongside such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic crew.
